Celebrating Terra Madre Day

A special Slow Food members gathering in honor of Terra Madre Day 2013.

We met at sunset at the beautiful Bambu Indah and settled in the Minang house ready to share stories and knowledge.

After the gathering, some members stayed on to enjoy a Slow Food Bali Family Dinner.

• Bebek Betutu (Organically grown, free-range duck, slow roasted in banana leaves with traditional Balinese spice paste). Vegetarian alternative option.

• Two varieties of Urab (young fern shoot and long bean Balinese traditional salads)

• Tempe Goreng (Fermented soybean cakes, with sweet & spicy highlights)

• Sambal Goreng Pedas

• Sambal Matah (Lemon grass, garlic & shallot condiment)

• Organic Brown Rice

• Black Rice Pudding & Fresh Fruits
